Julia Remezenko
Julia Remezenko
Julia Remezenko is an Ukrainian musicologist, teacher and composer of pedagogical, vocal and instrumental music. Her collection of piano pieces for children “Musical sketches” has been published by the Ukrainian publishing house “Melosvit”. Julia was born in Kyiv (Ukraine) in 1980. She graduated from R. M. Glier Kyiv State Higher Music College and P. I. Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music, Kyiv. She studied composition with Ukrainian composers Valerij Podvala and Svitlana Ostrova. Julia has obtained as composer, musicologist and performer diplomas and mentions in national and international competitions (All-Ukrainian literary & musician competition "Eighth Note", Musicological competition in Kiev and others). In 2010 she was invited as a jury member of children’s contest “Spirituality Ukraine”. Currently Julia works as a music teacher in Kyiv children music school and also gives private lessons. She develops her own methods of teaching piano, music theory and composition.
