Composer's Biography
Yi Xie Shen
Yixie Shen was born in 1993. She began to study piano and harmonic ear training since very young age. The composition study was started at her 12 years old. She is really interested in this field. She devotes her whole enthusiasm into composition. In 2006 she entered music school affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music which is one of the famous conservatories in China and world. Her teacher is very appreciating her talent and she has become one of the best young composers in China. Her compositions have been performed in concerts and workshops and won favorable comments. At the same year, her composition won the memorable prize of "Ode to Kongzi" national chamber composition competition.
